Triton Automotive Group is currently looking for an Experienced Automotive Finance Trainer to join our team as a Business Development Manager. You will be assigned and dedicated to one of our Dealer Group’s rooftops to train and develop their F&I team’s performance.
Previous Automotive F&I Trainer experience is REQUIRED. Experience with Darwin F&I software is a PLUS.
$120,000 salary plus bonus eligibility!
This position will be servicing the Newark, NJ geographic region.

Responsibilities:
Perform, instruct, and demonstrate their skill in all phases of the Financial Services Department including but not limited to a professional menu presentation, Triton Protect product expertise, over-coming customer resistance to all products, compliance, lender relations, and interacting professionally with Sales, Sales Management, Service, and Accounting. In addition, it is expected the BDM become a subject matter expert for all products offered by Triton Automotive Group.
Focus on development only, no acquisition requirement.
Create and maintain a geographical network of proven Financial Services Manager talent pool to assist the Partners efforts in staffing their departments and their organizations with exceptional personnel and future potential leaders within the organization. In addition, make themselves available to interview potential internal candidates and provide feedback on those internal and external candidates to the partner.
Plan, conduct, and modify if necessary, individual and group training sessions consistent with the ethical sales techniques utilized in the 3 ½ day Financial Services Workshop. It is expected that the BDM will “role play” sales ideas with all Financial Services personnel and keep their presentations up to date and of Triton Training caliber. In addition, provide any new ideas and fresh approaches to all Financial Services personnel on a regular basis, and conduct Sales & Sales Management meetings as requested on a regular basis. BDM will be responsible for ongoing training and orientation of new personnel.
Analyze and advise the partner of any pay plan, incentives, or contests that are impediments to achievement of the Partners departmental financial objectives inclusive of chargebacks, early cancellations, and percentage of total payout.
Instruct the Service Department on proper claims procedures and interact with the Service Manager on every visit to make sure claims procedures and customer service are exceeding expectations, delighting the customer and meeting SLAs. In addition, the BDM should act as a liaison for any claims dispute and be an advocate on behalf of the customer and partner to resolve any disputes both efficiently and fairly for all parties. BDM will be responsible for ongoing training and new personnel orientation.
Instruct the Accounting department of all remittance policies and procedures, cancellation procedures, e-Rating platforms, and act as a liaison for any issues Accounting may encounter relative to all Triton Protect products. In addition, make sure all remittance payments are received in a timely fashion. BDM will be responsible for ongoing training and new personnel orientation.
Will comply with all Company policies and procedures as well as all state and federal regulations and will always work towards promoting a culture of “doing the right thing because its the right thing to do”.
The BDM will review the production of every Financial Services Department, identify performance that is below plan, develop an action plan to resolve the issue, and review the action plan with the partner on every Dealership visit. Results from the action(s) will be recorded on the Development Activity Report and distributed to the Partner
The BDM will facilitate and create an annual forecast for each rooftop, and continuously monitor the 5 key elements (right people, properly trained, motivational pay plans, proper processes, and management support) necessary to achieve plan

REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success as a Financial Services Manager
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to conduct Training one on one, and with small groups
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to harness financial data to assist Partner In making informed decisions
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Discipline to work Independently within budget and consistently exceed plan
Ability to effectively utilize reporting tools
Working knowledge of Financial Services Sales Menus & Partner DMS a plus
