In order to fully satisfy our discerning clientele, we need you! For our hotels in the German region we are now looking for:
IT Manager – Cluster Germany (based in the Rhein-Main region) (m/f/d).
How you will support us:
- Independent execution of projects in consultation with your line manager in order to realise the timely introduction and upgrades of the systems within the specified timeframe and budget as provided by the hotel
- Assisting hotels in the application of technical and operational applications including installation, testing, repair, maintenance and upgrading of all hardware and software to ensure optimal performance
- IT support for the German region in cooperation with the global support center. Identifying and solving problems in a timely and accurate manner and supporting users with appropriate training and assistance
- Cooperation with external service providers
- High levels of initiative within your area of responsibility
- Required monitoring and control of compliance with SOX and PCI-DSS regulations
- Monitoring, evaluation and ensuring that the hotels’ systems comply with corporate and brand standards.
- Intensive teamwork with the rest of the Germany Cluster IT team
- Occasional regional assignments at our other hotel around Germany
What we want beyond that :
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable field of work
- Knowledge and experience in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Proactive project definition with goal formulation and milestone planning, requirements management, preparation, moderation and control
- Very good knowledge of IT project and process management
- Strong communication skills, creative drive and fun with new challenges
- Negotiation skills and experience in supporting service providers
- Solid knowledge of the various Microsoft operating systems
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in the administration of networks
- Knowledge of network infrastructures
- Solid, broad IT understanding with technical depth
- Responsible and communicative personality
- Strong teamwork skills
- High service and solution orientation
- German: Business fluent
- English: fluently
