OPEN ROLES:
School Registered Nurse (RN) – Full time & part time available
No prior experience required!
LOCATIONS:
Nassau County – multiple locations
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SCHOOL NURSE:
Working 1:1 with students who have developmental disabilities
Assisting student with individualized, school related tasks
Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP)
Monitoring and recording evidence of student’s learning and progress
Supporting student with emotional or behavioral concerns and assist them in developing social skills
Assistance with personal care and hygiene
Maintain confidentiality of information
Assistance with medication administration
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Updated resume
Current NYS RN license
Up-to-date BLS or ACLS
Fingerprinting: mandatory by the New York State Department of Education
Up-to-date medical documentation
