About The Opportunity
We are excited to invite a talented Recruiter to join our team! This role centers on overseeing the recruitment process. The Recruiter will source, evaluate, and engage potential candidates for available positions. Furthermore, this position involves collaborating with other leaders within the organization to coordinate follow-up interviews, extend employment offers, and play a pivotal role in the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the requisites, responsibilities, and desired qualifications for specific vacancies.
Evaluate applicants, shortlist qualified and interested candidates for interviews, and connect promising candidates with hiring managers.
Leverage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to identify and select prospective candidates for open roles.
Verify candidates’ credentials, references, experiences, and backgrounds.
Offer guidance to candidates regarding the interview and hiring process.
Gather feedback from hiring managers post-interview and determine subsequent steps.
Craft offer letters and liaise with relevant departments to manage first-day arrangements.
Lead new hire orientation on their initial day.
Organize and participate in job fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities.
Uphold compliance with relevant equal employment opportunity (EEO) and employment laws and regulations.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in conducting interviews.
Strong organizational acumen.
Thorough familiarity with EEO, ADA, and other pertinent employment laws and guidelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
A minimum of two years’ experience in human resources or a related domain is essential.
SHRM-CP or SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential would be advantageous.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Recruitment platforms is a plus.
