Welcome to Gear Patrol, where our mission is to build the definitive resource for discovering products and exploring the stories surrounding them. Gear Patrol is seeking a full-time Marketing Strategist to join the Commercial team (which is composed of the following groups: Ad Sales, Revenue Operations/Client Services, Marketing, Creative, and our internal branded content studio, Gear Patrol Studios).
A highly collaborative role, the Marketing Strategist will support the broader Commercial team and its objectives through the development and production of sales marketing materials and promotional tools, audience surveys/research, consumer marketing and audience development initiatives, sweepstakes support, and owning and creating strategies that directly lead to helping Gear Patrol meet its revenue goals.
Projects include supporting go-to-market strategies and materials, ultimately bringing the sales and marketing narratives to life for the advertising community, materially supporting RFP responses and proactive pitches, producing audience surveys in conjunction with managing third-party data and research tools, managing the multi-brand sweepstakes process and overseeing B2B communication channels. This role will report directly to Gear Patrol’s Marketing Manager.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; geographical considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
