The Wellness and Recreation Center is currently seeking a Student Membership Desk Attendant to join their team of professionals on the Biscayne bay Campus. This is a customer facing position. Duties includes:
Basic data entry
Filing papers
Making copies
Running errands
Attend FIU Service Excellence training
Complete Microsoft Word & Outlook trainings
Acquire basic PantherSoft training
Swiping Membership ID’s
Great and interact with members on the phone and in person
Cleaning and maintenance of facility and equipment
Participate in departmental events
Attending mandatory meetings and trainings
Responsible for communicating policy violations to customers and/or supervisors such as attire, bags, re-racking, etc
Is responsible for the use of radios to respond to and communicate with staff members who need assistance throughout the building
Navigating FUSION recreation software for facility Access, Sales, Program Check-in, and Locker service
All other duties as assigned
Customer service knowledge
None to basic level of Microsoft Word
Ability to take direction and work independently as needed
Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information
Student Assistant
Schedule Hours will vary based class schedule and operational needs during facility hours.
$11.00/hour
