SUMMARY
Assist loan officers in gathering and evaluating credit information on current and prospective customers, preparing written reports of analysis. This position also assists in the training and mentoring of other Credit Analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE
B.A. degree in Business, Finance or related field from a four-year college or university; a minimum of eight years banking experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position. Commercial banking experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and familiarity with Internet. Have some background in farm and ranch operation preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision.
