Envisage Group is a premier handbag and leather goods sourcing, production and merchandising organization. We are looking for talented handbag designers for our in-house design team.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a handbag/accessory designer
- Proficiency in web design and digital marketing; ability to create email marketing campaigns, design engaging and creative web and social media content.
- An exceptional eye for quality, color, and taste level with an ability to execute and correct designs accordingly
- Knowledge of leather preferred but not required
- Must be a team player, energetic, enthusiastic, and a creative problem solver
- Have great organization and communication skills, and the ability to be efficient in time management.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the brand aesthetic and translate it into brand appropriate commercial product
- Responsible for the entire product design process including market research, competitive analysis, mood board creation, designing, sketching, specing and function
- Oversee product from concept to production and communicate any changes to cross-functional partners
- Create email marketing campaigns; design engaging and creative web and social media content
- Create line sheets, detailed tech packs, mock-ups, and color-ups based on sketches and material swatches
- Review samples, provide comments and solutions to problems as well as price challenges without sacrificing the look and perceived value of product
Requirements:
- Fluent in hand sketching and/or CAD
- Solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Salary: $50,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience
