ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Staff Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide cybersecurity support that ensures the security and integrity for a software development process and system. These efforts will specifically focus on CI/CD pipeline development and CATO authorizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and the implementation and maintenance of security controls within CI/CD environments. They should also have a deep understanding of both software development practices and the Space AO system authorization process.
This is a hybrid position that will require multiple days of on-site work per week at the Capabilities Development Division (CDD) government facility at Cape Canaveral, FL.
Duties will include:
Provide Information Systems Security Engineering Support and technical execution of RMF activities.
Design, implement, and maintain security controls within the CI/CD pipeline.
Identifying mitigation strategies identified during security assessments.
Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures specific to the CI/CD pipeline.
Support security engineering to include design, testing, configuration management, and maintenance of information systems.
Support compliance certification and vulnerability assessments
Assist program security architect in the development or maintenance of processes and procedures.
Recommends and implements engineering design changes required to adapt technical requirements.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7 years relevant experience
Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes to include writing and managing RMF artifacts (System Security Plan (SSP), Security Compliance Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Continuous Monitoring Plan, and Security Assessment Plans and Procedures)
Experience in the evaluation, qualification, testing, and delivery of security architecture improvements, obsolescence replacement, and vulnerability response projects
Experience with continuous integration/ continuous deployment (CI/CD), DevSecOps, build management, and/or automated test frameworks.
Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Gitlab
Experience with CI/CD security tools such as Docker Security Scanning, Clair, Anchore, and Ansible
Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as AWS, AZURE
DOD 8140 IAM-Level II certification (CISSP, CISM, CCISO)
MUST HAVE A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND THE ABILITY TO ATTAIN A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WHICH REQUIRES US CITIZENSHIP. IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
Qualifications Desired
Master’s degree in engineering or computer science with two years relevant experience, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of networking and system administration.
DOD Experience with Agile or DevOps project management styles.
Proficiency in scripting and automation for security related tasks.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in the use of security scanning tools (ACAS, SCC, etc.)
Experience in securing Linux, Unix, and Cisco Operating system.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teambuilding skills.
Strong writing and oral presentation skills; ability to write final-version deliverable technical documents and reports.
