ENGIE North America is seeking a Senior Photovoltaic (PV) Field Service Technician. This Technician oversees the construction commissioning activities for a large number of projects and supports the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team with new product training and safe work practices. The Senior Technician will interact with and have direct oversight from their supervisor regularly.
The Senior PV Field Service Technician reviews the commissioning work performed by subcontractors and provides technical support and guidance to Engie O&M field service technicians as needed. Most activities can be completed without a supervisor’s advanced approval. This position is independent from the design and construction team.
This position reports to the Regional Service Manager and will be located in San Jose CA or remotely in the Northern California area.
