Job Description
As a Technical Recruiter you will be responsible for the full recruiting cycle identifying, recruiting, screening, and presenting qualified candidates for technology positions, while collaborating with hiring managers to set realistic technical requirements and present competitive job offers. This is a brand-new position and an opportunity to assist with building out the talent acquisition department and ATS system. *Duties/Responsibilities: *
* Collaborate with the SVP of HR to build out the talent acquisition department
* Types of roles hiring for in 2023: front-end and back-end developers, project manager, product owner, data scientist, engineers, Q&A, etc. Other opportunities will include media team, sales and operations.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled and ensure they align with the growth roadmap
* Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions
* Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates
* Strategically surce candidates for a variety of roles within the information security, machine learning and software engineering lines of the business
* Use innovative and inclusive sourcing strategies to find potential candidates using tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, networking, etc.
* Manage the applicant process; external apply process and internal apply process
* Manage and create the ATS dashboards, workflows, notes, email templates and requisition templates
* Drafts recruitment advertisements: posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions
* Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, behavioral assessments and other forms of communications
* Acts as the point of contact for both the candidate and the hiring manager
* Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers, schedules interviews
* Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications
* Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates
* Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
* Attends job fairs and industry conferences when required; runs company booth at job fairs
* Consistently met and exceed quarterly hiring goals
* Successfully negotiate and extend offer letters, and achieve acceptance hiring rate
* Successfully achieve hiring time to close times
* Assist with training hiring managers on how to best interview and create interview questionnaires
* Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
*
Ability to work independently and remote
* Proactive approach and thinking outside the box
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills
* Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. We are 100% remote and nationwide
* Experience with recruitment of all levels from entry to Director and across multiple functions
* Proficient with ATS; SmartRecruiters, iCims, ADP
* Excellent user of social media channels
* Experience with working with third party vendors and agencies
* Experience utilizing behavioral assessments; Predictive Index
* Experience assigning technical assessments; coding tests
* Experience creating job descriptions and email templates
* Experience with market compensation rates and creating/presenting offer letters
* Assist with training managers on how to interview
* Experience working as a partner with senior stakeholders
*_Education and Experience: _*
* Bachelor’s degree in related technical, business and/or human resources field preferred
* At least three years of related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles preferred
* SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus but not required
* Prior work experience with a tech start up, information technology or SaaS company is preferred, Meta, Twitter, Microsoft, Snap, Lyft, Stripe, Snowflake, etc.
