Founded in 1879, Curry College is a private, four-year, liberal arts-based institution in
Milton Massachusetts. In addition to the main campus classes for adult learners are also offered at our campus at Cordage Park in historic
Plymouth. Curry College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). Curry College offers 22 undergraduate
majors, over 60 minors and concentrations, as well as five graduate programs.

Job Description:
The
Curry College Education Department invites applications for qualified teacher educators with expertise and experience with educational
administration, curriculum & pedagogy, diversity, equity and inclusion in schools, child development and effective teaching practices to
apply for an appointment at the Assistant Professor rank to begin for the fall 2023 semester.
The Assistant Professor will support
graduate programs in education and provides guidance and leaderships to all graduate programs at our two campuses in Milton and Plymouth, as
well as at partnership sites. This individual must be knowledgeable of state and national education standards to ensure successful outcomes
for students and the continued approval of the program. Additionally, the assistant professor is expected to be engaged, detail-oriented,
communicative leader who works effectively with a range of constituents across the institution and the educator preparation
community.
We seek an educator, administrator and scholar who actively connects theory and practice in the classroom,
understands and applies current and best practices in diversity, equity and inclusion; can advance the field of preparing new educators and
administrators, and brings a current understanding of pedagogical best practices to their teaching, scholarship, and service. Possesses a
knowledge of early education/elementary/middle school education, current national standards and best practices for teaching children from
birth through high school and adult learners.
Candidates who have experience with culturally, academically and economically diverse
students are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates are expected to be an active contributor to the service of the department and to
content areas in the department, depending on their area(s) of expertise. Only candidates who will have completed a doctorate degree by the
position start date will be considered (ABD will be considered with a completion date before August 2023). Interested candidates should
