Short Description
Provides clinical medical physics services for the Department of Radiation Oncology.
Clinical medical physics services must be performed at a high standard and include:
Participate in research and educational efforts.
Support and assist physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and other colleagues. Implement requested improvements and changes facilitating their work.
Experience Required
2 years post-graduate experience in Therapeutic Medical Physics.
Education Requirements
Graduate degree in medical physics or related field required; PhD preferred
License/Certification Requirements
ABR/ABMP-Strongly Required
Special Requirements
Scheduled Days / Hours: 40 hours per week; License (or Certification):ABMP Preferred; License (or Certification):ABR Preferred; Education:MASTERS Required
