Sika is a Swiss multi-national company leading the world in products for the construction, marine and automotive industries. We are a stable company and have been operating in New Zealand for 60+ years. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our production team based in Avondale to manufacture our products.
Job Description
This is primarily daytime shift work however some flexibility around shift times is required. Start times can be between 4am-8am. You will be working Monday to Friday. We’re offering a competitive hourly rate plus time and a half after 40 hours worked.
Qualifications
As the successful applicant you will have:
- Manufacturing experience
- A forklift licence
- Good communication skills
- A reasonable level of computer literacy
- Initiative
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Be a team player
You will be required to read and understand manufacturing instruction sheets. You’ll also need to be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required up to 25kgs.
