Our staff truly changes the transportation industry. We are looking for a dynamic recruitment assistant to help facilitate the company’s hiring process. In this role, you’ll support the company’s Recruitment team and ensure that all recruitment procedures run smoothly. Job Description: * Performs recruitment duties such as scheduling interviews, updating the calendar accordingly, answering phone calls and monitoring emails. * Works closely with the Recruitment and Personnel department to maintain the candidates database and handle any relevant paperwork. * Assists in preparing and posting job advertisements in print and social media. * Screens candidates by performing background checks and verifying their qualifications and work experience. * Greets and assists candidates with interviews onsite. * Follow up with candidates during the recruitment process, like callbacks or rejection emails. * Resolves issues such as interview cancellations in a timely manner. * Assists successful candidates with onboarding process, including preparing documents and coordinating orientation agendas. Requirements: * At least one year of experience as a recruitment assistant or a related role. * Familiar with standard hiring practices, such as scheduling interviews and onboarding processes. * Knowledge with Microsoft Office and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter and working knowledge of social media management software for posting. * Strong organization and time management skills * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment Compensation between $35K-$39K based on qualifications and experience **Veterans are welcomed to apply** Location 68 Snediker Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11207 This position is 100% on-site, remote work is not available for this position.
