A prestigious Washington D.C. law firm is currently seeking a Human Resources Recruiting Assistant to support the daily operations of their HR Department. The qualified applicant will have approximately one year of human resources and/or recruitment support experience. Preferably, this experience will be in a law firm or corporate recruitment setting. The ideal candidate will also possess strong database skills or prior applicant tracking experience.
Specific job duties will include: providing administrative and clerical support to the law firm’s staff recruiting department by conducting reference checks and employment verifications, posting job descriptions to the firm’s website, logging candidates into the internal database, communicating position requirements to agency recruiters, handling new hire paperwork, administering testing, and more! The stellar applicant will have the ability to maintain confidentiality, strong database skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and a strong attention to detail.
