Summary:
The College of Lake County is currently looking for a Campus Operations Coordinator to join their team. The Campus Operations Coordinator is responsible for independently performing a variety of complex technical assignments of the day-to-day operation of the Campus; these assignments impact space utilization process for internal and external events on the Lakeshore campuses. The position is also responsible for the academic scheduling at the Lakeshore campus. As Campus Operations Coordinator, this position will also help with light office duties and hiring personnel. The Campus Operations Coordinator will be the project manager for the campus units/departments to ensure space needs for services, equipment needs are met. This position is also cross-trained to perform all the customer service and back office processing functions assigned to the Lakeshore Campus.

Required Qualifications:
1. Associates Degree2. Basic understanding of event and academic-related processes with a minimum of two (2) years
experience in scheduling operations3. Proficient in the use of scheduling-related software (25 live and Microsoft Office (Word and
Excel)4. Exceptional customer service and the ability to respond effectively to emergency or unusual
situations.
5. Proven ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree2. Work experience in the educational environment.3. Proficient in the use of scheduling-related software (25Live and PeopleSoft)4. Prior knowledge of Facilities-related processes and software (Akitabox)5. Previous work experience with event planning

Summary of Essential Functions:
Department Operations and Procedures 30%
1) Reserve and confirm space for reservation for internal and external groups wanting to use the
space at the Lakeshore campus.
2) Collaborate with Ed Affairs Team and the Scheduling Coordinator for academic classes space
utilization at Lakeshore.
3) Maintain and update the facilities files, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
4) Update data in the event management database, ensuring data integrity. This can include
setting up reports and updating room information.
5) Resolving conflicts and solving Lakeshore Campus course TBAs.
6 Conduct analysis of Lakeshore campus classroom utilization and scheduling efficiencies.
7) Assist the Grayslake Campus Scheduling coordinator with Lakeshore Campus inventory of
classrooms before each semester (minimum of 2 times per year) to verify the head count and
room equipment is accurate in the system and making updates when necessary.
Project Management 30%
1) Coordinate events on campus to include collaboration with various CLC departments and
community members to ensure event details are documented and carried out accurately for
the success and safety of the event, the college, and the community.
2) Plan event logistics and ensure accurate information is entered into 25Live. This will include
coordination of various departments that impact the event and will include space requirements,
setup instructions, catering, A/V, personnel needs, supplies, etc.
Student and Customer Service 30%
1) Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, faculty, students and our
community members
2) Troubleshoot and recommend applicable resolution to space conflicts/errors in collaboration
with the Event scheduler and requestor.
3) Answer telephone inquiries concerning college information, facilities requests, calendar of
events, room assignments, media technology services, room set-ups, etc. and dispatch
requests over the radio as needed.
Personnel Management 5%
1) Hire, Train & Supervise student workers as required.
Other 5%
1) Monitor office supply inventory, reorder as necessary.
2) Scheduling meetings and appointments for Campus Director
3) Participate on college wide initiatives and senates.
4) Perform other job-related duties
