The Department of Teaching and Learning at Clemson University is recruiting an Assistant Professor of Science Education, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position, beginning Fall 2023.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include teaching on-campus undergraduate classes in science education. Areas of need include: early childhood/preschool science education and (to a lesser extent) elementary science education. Applicants must be prepared to develop, carry-out, and sustain a line of scholarly productivity and external funding. They are also expected to engage in service to the university and field. Applicants must have an understanding or some experiences with STEAM/STEM and should articulate a desire to teach education and methods courses for undergraduate prospective teachers. A strong science content background is essential for being effective in this role.
