THE ROLE – OVERVIEW:

We are looking to bring on a Director to lead the expansion of our Mission-Driven Sector Practice (non-profit, non-governmental organization and associations). As the Director, you will be involved in all aspects of the sale and delivery of mission-driven sector consulting services. This opportunity enables you to leverage your subject matter expertise to present first-class solutions while playing a vital role in the growth of our company. As the Practice leader, you will also be tasked with upholding the Clarendon Partners culture and overseeing the development of other team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead consulting Mission-Driven Sector Practice.
• Lead client project teams, share individual subject matter expertise and be a primary liaison to our clients.
• Utilize depth of experience to continue to grow and develop the Mission-Driven Sector Practice .
• Create business development opportunities utilizing your industry network that lead to new client projects to expand our client base.
• Lead various Mission-Driven Sector Practice client projects including (but not limited to): Alignment of Operations to Mission Strategy, System Selection, Data Lineage & Validation, Policy & Procedure Development, Training & Adoption, Project Management Support and Fractional Leadership.
• Conduct analyses of our client’s operations, operating models, processes, applications, and infrastructure and formulate recommendations and roadmaps to improve our client’s achievement of their mission.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and work internally across Clarendon Partners teams to help bring our clients the most comprehensive, end-to-end Mission-Driven Sector services to effectively address their organizational challenges.
• Bring strong analytical and communication skills (written as well as verbal). Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
• Manage, mentor, and coach other consultants and perform quality control reviews of staff work before delivery to client.
• Enable change through a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience leading a Mission-Driven Sector offering in professional services, preferably at a large, global management consulting firm.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
• Ability to grow a practice through: Business Development, Practice Development and Team Mentoring.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience performing Mission-Driven Sector activities to include: Alignment of Operations to Mission Strategy, System Selection, Data Lineage & Validation, Policy & Procedure Development, Training & Adoption, Project Management Support and Fractional Leadership.
• Bring an active network of potential clients in the Mission-Driven Sector and the experience using the network to grow a practice
• Mission-Driven Sector acumen with a strong understanding of sector specific systems, processes, data and operations
• Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, or other technical discipline
