Job Overview
This position provides support to the Office of the Program Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM-TAS) and identified stakeholders within the organization. The Product Support Integrator (PSI) uses interdisciplinary engineering skills, production knowledge, and supply chain management skills to assist/manage procurement packages for complex mechanical/electrical/software products. The PSI supports the Project Management Office (PMO) with programmatic assistance services to advance the PM’s mission of researching, developing, fielding, and sustaining TAS technology and systems.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
The PSI Senior will:
- Maintains continuous interface and coordination with appropriate PMs, IPTs, Engineering Lead, Logistics Lead, and technical support representatives
- Task preparation and provide input on documents related to acquisition logistics, engineering, and overall program support
- Participates in project reviews, and advises Government logisticians on engineering impacts, budgets, and promotes performance-based logistics concepts
- Provides recommendations, courses of action for acquisition logistics, and reviews and provides recommendations for the final supportability strategy for TAS life cycle support plans
- Provides a myriad of Logistics and Engineering support functions to PM-TAS platforms (M777, M119, M198, etc.) and various coordination activities among organic teams within PM-TAS as well as outside or adjacent stakeholders.
- Participate in Government logistics and engineering technical reviews pertaining to system design, operations, maintenance, logistics and installation and fielding of TAS in support of the Program Manager and Government representatives. Prepares, submits required paperwork to support requisition of items to support various PM-TAS project requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, manage, track, and execute an entire range of acquisition logistic activities and engineering integration requirements to include retail supply support, major and secondary item parts requirement determination, level of repair analysis (LORA), material fielding.
- Support budget forecasting, development of Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) concepts, including preparing and coordinating all documentation required for full or urgent material release packages.
- Work with product leads to define technical requirements, develop acquisition strategies, interface with contracting office and awarded contractor.
- Prepares correspondence of varying nature and ensures adherence to established formant and for compliance with overall policies.
- Represents PM-TAS professionally at installation and other meetings, as required. Effectively communicates (orally or in written form) updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Ten (10) years of related experience or;
- Substitution of a Bachelor’s Degree with twenty (20) years of related experience
- United States Citizen.
- Able to pass Federal National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- Able to provide driving record upon request.
