Corporate Vice President, Human Resources based in Austin, TX. My client is searching for a Human Resource Executive responsible for overseeing all aspects of their organization’s human resources function. Their role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
The Vice President Human Resources must exercise discretion and independent judgment in formulating and applying human resource and other management policies to non-routine and complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the business in achieving its strategic objectives by providing the necessary HR resources and insights to
both business-as-usual and growth initiatives
• Assess and develop talent to ensure the availability of talent to meet operational needs
• Create strategies and processes to attract and hire talent
• Build and maintain relationships with internal constituents
• Interface with operations to ensure client satisfaction is high
• Display leadership, teamwork, and strategic planning ability
• Encourage thought leadership, the cultivation and stretching of talent
• Lead due diligence and post-acquisition activities
• Responsible for implementing and coordinating strategies, policies and practices covering all areas of the human
resource function, including, but not limited to: compensation, legal compliance, benefits, compliance training,
leadership development, recruitment, performance management, and succession planning
• Achievement of committed HR strategic initiatives as outlined by the CEO
• Contribution to the development and HR execution of the business strategic plan
• Development of a high-caliber, accountable team
• Drive Diversity and inclusion initiatives
• Positioning the HR function to both lead and respond to a changing employment market
• On-time delivery of assigned projects and tasks
• Visible and successful learning/development and orientation programs in place
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
• Experience managing others
• Excellent computer verbal, analytical, organizational, writing, and presentation skills
• Experience in supporting C-Suite executives
• Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 4-year degree
• 10+ years of demonstrated human resource leadership in multi-functional roles
• Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP, UKG, Oracle, ADP, etc.
• Experience with leading acquisition efforts and post-acquisition integration
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
• MBA or another advanced degree in a related field
• SPHR
• Experience presenting to a Board of Directors
• Experience in a home services business
