As a Nurse at Centura, you will assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. You will promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Centura Health utilizes the premier perioperative nurse education program, PeriOp 101: A Core Curriculum, from the AORN to support the success of nurses new to the Operating Room (OR) setting. This program is uniquely designed to ensure nurses at all levels of experience in nursing are successful in their transition to operating room.
In addition to the evidence-based modules through the AORN PeriOp 101 program, we also
provide live class time with hands on experience weekly during the initial transition period.
Oversight of this program is provided by the Enterprise Perioperative Specialty Education
Group.

$30.25 – $50.81 / hour
