Essential Job Functions

– Manage 1 direct report
– Travel as necessary – design, account sell-ins, and market knowledge
Experience and Skills
– 4-7 years of experience in a retail buying or merchandising position; experience developing a line structure is critical
– Strong knowledge of retail metrics in order to effectively analyze results across channels and markets
– Experience working with design, sourcing, product development, tech design, and other cross-functional partners
– Excellent communication and management skills; must possess ability to persuade, build consensus, and effectively disseminate information among all parties
– Proficiency and knowledge of retail math and analytics, merchandising principles, product knowledge, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
– Well-developed presentation skills needed to present to senior level executives and key accounts
– Sample management, sample check-in, sample closet management, presentation setup and clean up
