Capital Youth Culture Exhange, LLC Looking for Online Teachers for K – 6 Grade Class at Remote Full Time

Capital Youth Culture Exchange is seeking instructors to teach in a learning program for a small group of 2-4 international students. The goal of our program is to teach students English, Social Studies, Math and Science in accordance with the Virginia State Learning Standards for public schools.

This program for 1) the Summer semester 2022 will start from Aug 12, 2021 to Aug 27, 2022. Class hours are in the evening from Mon to Fri ETD. 2) the next school year will start from Sep 2, 2022 through Jun 19, 2023. Class hours are in the evening on Fri and Sat. The pay rate for this position starts from $41.6 per class hour.

Responsible:

 Create interactive classes on topics, prepare and delivery lesson plans

 Provide a high-quality class experience for students in a step-by-step manner with appropriate guidance

 Confidently use Zoom Meeting to start video meetings and communicate with families about students’ progress.

 Complete the production of a PPT and demonstrate it.

 Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback

Qualifications:

 Must be a current school teacher with at least 3 years of teaching experience; hold a teacher license within the validity period

 Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the policies and procedures

 Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills

 Well-organized and committed

 Creative and energetic

 Strong moral values and discipline

 Preferred but not required experience in working with international students
