Waterfront Director

The waterfront director operates and oversees all uses of the camp waterfront, including boating, swimming, and any activities that take place ‘over the wall’ (the waterfront boundary). This individual designs all waterfront programming.

• Supervises and cares for up to 10 campers at a time
• Oversees lifeguarding staff
• Maintains waterfront
• Logs maintenance of all watercraft
• Logs condition of all waterfront supplies
• Observes and evaluates lifeguarding staff
• Designs swim-test protocol and procedure

Certifications & Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• At least 6 weeks experience working in a waterfront / aquatics program
• Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent
• Red Cross WSI certification or equivalent
