Position Summary:
The Calumet College of Saint Joseph Education Department is seeking applicants to fill a full-time tenure track faculty position
beginning this fall. The College employs academic faculty who have applicable content expertise, and who provide evidence of recent or
current professional experience in the discipline.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
The ideal candidate
will have expertise in educational programming, specifically with a view towards teacher licensure preparation. Candidates should possess an
entrepreneurial spirit with a forward-thinking approach to technology, pedagogy and delivery in program development and management.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
A master’s degree in education. Experience with digital learning management
systems (e.g., Blackboard) and digital learning tools are helpful. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in addressing
the needs of first-generation college students is highly desirable. Experience with Department Leadership (visionary, team-building, and
organizational skills). Ability to communicate and collaborate with P-12 regional professional education partners. Ability to collaborate
with others to guide the Department/Program towards national accreditation. Eagerness to participate in department faculty through ongoing
program development and improvement.
