As a member of the Brown & Brown Information Technology team, you will provide internal support for employees at the local office as well as remote staff. You will also have the opportunity to shape IT operations here at B&B. The role requires a good combination of leadership, technical, customer service, and project management skills.
Essential Duties and Functions
Partner with IT and Business to develop SLAs and SLOs for critical services, starting with the Wholesale Division
Develop & enhance operating procedures to ensure all incidents are tracked using B&B’s ITSM toolset, ServiceNow
Create dashboards to reflect IT performance against SLAs and SLOs
Support IT teammates to develop knowledge and provide guidance on complex issues.
Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals.
Create and develop process, procedure, and standardization for systems.
Review existing technology process problems and recommends solutions.
Coordinate different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
Identify potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions to maximize efficiency.
Identify and manage operational risks.
Develop department policies, process, and procedures documentation.
Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and strategic goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
Windows desktop environments, Win 10 and Office 365 Suite
Advanced skills using and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory structure and domains including auditing and group policy
Security enablement on Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
Secure Client PC connectivity – ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN, and virtual services
File server knowledge and File Sharing systems, and SFTP applications
Security products such as laptop encryption, backup, anti-virus
Experience with remote desktop support tools, VPN and VDI environments
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of teammates
Knowledge of Information Security, Network Security, Firewall Administration, System Administration
Knowledge of PC security, Identify Management, Office 365 User & Account Management and Security & Compliance module
SharePoint Security, role base security definitions and deployment
Preferred
Experience in an SD-WAN and/or MPLS network environment
Previous experience working in a SOX and HIPAA environment a plus
More than 6 years’ experience working in an office/enterprise setting supporting Windows/MAC
