Role Overview:
- Provides administrative support to payroll, benefits, leave of absence, and the HR support center.
- Responsible for indexing/scanning of all payroll documents.
- 25% Researches employee tenure from monthly service award list. Prints letters, assembles packages, processes check requests and service award gifts. Maintains ongoing spreadsheet.
- 15% Ensures that all documents received are documented in workflow database or document tracking logbook.
- Distributes documents to appropriate technicians.
- 15% Indexes and scans all payroll documents.
- 10% Performs administrative duties — types, edits, updates forms/documents/procedures. Maintains departmental listings and binders.
- 10% Documents and distributes manual checks to appropriate technicians.
- Prepares and distributes daily and monthly reports.
- 10% Assists employees/customers — walk-ins, telephone, or written correspondence.
- 10% Documents and distributes notice of deposits (NODs) and checks on a biweekly basis.
- 5% Maintains equipment and supplies for the area.
- Distributes mail to departmental employees.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Good judgment skills.
- Effective customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Required Software and Other Tools:
Microsoft Office
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Work Experience:
1 Year Administrative/clerical experience.
Preferred Work Experience:
1 year benefit, payroll, or other Human Resources support experience.
Pay Transparency:
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $16.52-$16.52/hour. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K(provided minimum eligibility hours are met)
