About This Role
The Country Management team for BlackRock’s business in Italy is responsible for the management, steering and oversight of the Country which has a broad footprint of sales, investment, technology and solution businesses as well as local representation of critical corporate support functions.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with senior management in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
The Business Management team supports the COO and Country Manager, primarily with country representation and associated management information, oversight of local conduct and governance as well as support of business development.
The Business Manager team plays a key role in bridging the gap across local business functions and with our globally centralised teams, but also by filling gaps to support local requirements as needed.
Job Purpose/Background
The Junior Business Manager is a member of the Country Management team and reports to the Italy Business Manager. The team represents a broad function with a variety of responsibilities and touch points across the region and the firm globally.
Country Management drives the establishment and monitoring of management information and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensures robust governance and conduct in country, oversees budget, business analysis as well as local and regional projects. The team also plays a critical role in driving local culture and talent initiatives.
The role offers the opportunity to independently work with senior managers in a growing and supportive environment and provides the candidate with a unique view of the functioning of a world-class asset management organisation.
This position is a multi-faceted role, which requires sound judgement, organizational and planning skills, analytical ability and discretion, given the high level of confidentiality of information and data accessed.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 3 days in the office each week, with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week; some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities. Beginning in September, all employees will shift to at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. We remain focused on increasing the impactful moments that arise when we work together in person – aligned with our commitment to performance and innovation.
