Belmont University is seeking applications for a tenure
track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Education beginning
August 1,

responsibilities of this faculty position include:
Required Qualifications:Belmont University seeks to attract and retain highly

service.
Required EducationThe successful candidate will hold an earned
doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Education, Curriculum & Instruction or a related field from a regionally accredited doctoral granting
institution and will possess specialized skills enabling the candidate to effectively teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
in education, as well as adult learners in our Adult Degree Programs. The successful candidate will be able develop and deliver engaging and
rigorous undergraduate courses in the Adult Degree Program covering a broad range of subject areas, as well as develop and deliver
undergraduate and graduate courses in the Secondary Education Teacher Licensure program, focusing on areas such as: curriculum development
and differentiation, instructional methods and technology integration, assessment and evaluation strategies, educational theory and
pedagogy, content specific methods, as well as data informed instruction.
Required ExperienceThe candidate will have
demonstrated experience in teaching both adult learners and secondary students (grades 6-12). Ability to teach face to face, online, and
blended learning formats is required. A minimum of three years teaching experience preferred. Experience with both secondary education and
adult learners preferred.
The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the
University.
