The role

The Global Travel & Expense System Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the global travel and Concur expense program. Reporting to the Associate Director of AP & AR, this role will manage the critical day to day administration of the travel and expense report systems, as well as manage related improvement project and system implementations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as main point of contact globally for all travel and expense needs, investigations, trouble shooting, and driving cost savings through a unified program.
• Manage Concur/SAP implementations and enhancements.
• Ensure that transactions from Concur to SAP post correctly, escalate any issues to IT or Concur. Provide support to month end activities.
• Manage T&E company process, configurations, audit rules, workflow routing and policy changes.
• Support Global Security for all internal investigations of code of conduct violations for both travel and expense reporting.
• Maintain the Avanos T&E employee internal communications, training and support SharePoint site and group mailbox.
• Support the annual RFP for hotels, car rental and airfare.
• Drive continuous improvements withing the global T&E program for travel and expenses. Manage KPI and metrics
• Oversees Concur audit process and procedures. Ensure that effective internal controls, policies, and practices are in place.
• Key partner in leading integrations related to merger and acquisitions.
• Support Commercial Operations team with continuous improvement projects and implementations.

Your qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 year of relevant experience handling tax exemption certificates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Attention to details, ability to reconcile and analyze accounts, problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn specialized software and to extract financial information from SAP S/4
• T&E / Credit Card system experience – Concur
• Project management skills & experience working with and leading global teams
