Summary
Reporting into our General Counsel, the Head of People role is a key hire for our People team as well as Artera. This individual will partner with executive leadership as well as the existing People team to iterate on our People foundation as well as set the vision, strategy and execution of the organization moving forward. This individual will build effective cross-departmental relationships to understand how we can positively evolve our people and culture while growing our headcount over the next 18-24 months. This hire will help Artera attract, develop, and retain the very best talent.
A successful candidate will have experience leading a People function from start-up to IPO or have a combination of experience in a start-up as well as a public company. This individual will need to understand the complexity of startup culture and what necessary People strategies will help Artera hit its goals. This person will be adept at partnering with founders as well as the executive team, coaching when necessary and have the ability to tactfully push back, ensuring we are always making the right decisions. This hire will have a deep understanding of existing People practices, but is always willing to hear new ideas and approaches. This person is inquisitive and passionate about learning, growth and development while also keeping up to date with industry People trends.

SALARY RANGE
Actual base salary will depend on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal equity.
$143,000 – $223,000
