Private Client Account Executive – Personal Lines
A Private Client Account Executive is an emerging leader who is responsible for the day-to-day account management and for broking of high net worth personal insurance programs.
This position will learn to build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients at senior levels and to lead appropriate resources to address the client’s risk needs and thereby retain and grow a profitable book of business. This is done through service, pricing, consultation and reporting, promotes the value Aon delivers to clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages an assigned book of high-net worth personal insurance clients with personal insurance portfolios of varying size and complexity. May also include Group Excess Liability programs.
- Brokers and maintains required insurance policies and risk management solutions on behalf of clients.
- Conducts annual reviews for clients ahead of key renewal dates.
- Coordinates all client related billing matters and maintains aged receivables report.
- Works with Client Services team and assigned Coordinator to process changes and other client requests in a timely manner.
- Maintains an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assists in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
- Engages internal and external resources as required in order to Empower Results on behalf of our clients.
- Achieves assigned annual revenue growth and retention metrics. Supports growth of book of business through rounding of accounts and through new business production.
- The time service standard: returning a phone call within 24 hours and responding to email by the end of the day.
- Develops and maintains meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients, referral sources and colleagues through regular contact and interaction.
- Maintains awareness of all insurance carrier partner products, services and systems.
- Fully utilizes internal client management system to maintain policies, client correspondence, coordinate billing activities and manage client related tasks.
- Achieves assigned transparency and disclosure and compliance goals.
- Fosters innovative solutions to drive success for our clients.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of appropriate insurance and broking experience in high net worth personal insurance.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance business and the assigned clients’ needs as well as all major lines of business.
- Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook is required.
- Proficiency in utilizing carrier management platforms (Chubb, AIG, Ace, Progressive, etc.) as well as our client agency management system (Nexsure).
- Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools and create innovative solutions.
Education:
- Brokers License
- CPCU, CIC, or ARM completed or in process is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equalivent is preferred

The salary range for this position is $58,100- $77,500 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
