Position Summary

Our growing Global Communications team is searching for a candidate with exceptional writing ability, strong organizational skills, and an aspiration to create more moments for the neurodegenerative disease community. Reporting to the Lead, Corporate Communications, this role will support our broader communications initiatives to build excitement for and awareness around Amylyx’ products, pipeline, and community engagement. The position is responsible for managing Amylyx’ social media presence, developing internal communications content, and ensuring consistent messaging across our global corporate channels.

Responsibilities

• Manage Amylyx’ global social media content calendar on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and potential new channels, including drafting and publishing all posts and suggesting ideas for accompanying graphics.
• Support Amylyx’ social media community management and performance analysis.
• Assist with writing and editing content for global corporate channels, including press releases, blog posts, key message documents, flyers, owned content, and website updates.
• Develop and publish news stories to Amylyx’ intranet, including company news highlights, upcoming events, and employee spotlights.
• Coordinate intranet updates on behalf of other Amylyx departments.
• Draft periodic all-company updates about communications activities.
• Support the organization’s brand adherence by managing logo, template, and corporate advertisement requests.
• Provide fundamental department organization, including maintaining project timelines and trackers, updating and archiving key files, coordinating meetings, and sharing meeting minutes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree (preferable in communications, public relations, journalism) or related discipline.
• 3+ years of prior biotech communications experience, agency experience is a plus.
• Top-notch communication, collaboration, organization, and execution skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry and communications best practices.
• Strong writing ability and knack for storytelling.
• Motivated by fast-paced environment with opportunities for project ownership and creative problem-solving.
• Excited by social media trends and channel optimization.
• Experience with social media scheduling and media monitoring services preferred (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Meltwater).
• Demonstrates initiative, self-starter, able to work independently and in team settings.
• Willingness to accept new challenges, embrace processes and deadlines.
• Responds professionally to feedback and revisions.
• Successfully prioritizes workload, and concurrently manages multiple projects without compromising quality.
