The Sales Engineer will be responsible for working in a fast paced, high-growth environment where resources are optimized around producing measurable results. Be the primary technical consultant and relationship interface for assigned accounts/region, as well as developing new accounts. Promote various DC, low-voltage services to include engineering, installation, commissioning, and aftermarket services into assigned telecommunication/data center/5G accounts. Achieve sales budgets. Follow-up on qualified leads, perform marketing activities, fact finding, configurations, proposals, and frequent customer visits. Compile all relevant data to determine the exact nature of the customer’s business needs and develop solutions, BOMs. Perform engineering site surveys and develop SOW for Detailed Quotes. Assist with strategic sales plans, relationship management, product forecasting, competitive analysis. Coordinate projects with ABB Service Managers, Project Managers, Installation, and Customer resources. Negotiate price and schedules to “close the deal”.
