In this role The Human Resources Business Partner I will serve as a trusted advisor and Business Partner to leaders, managers and teammates. Responsibilities have emphasis on safety, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, training, organizational development and policy development/interpretation for our 2nd Shift team members.
*B. DUTIES*
General Overall Duties (1-6 listed below)
1. Follows and enforces employee’s safety procedures
2. Report any unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor or manager
3. Follow, Monitor, and Enforce all food safety procedures
4. Follows and enforces SQF requirements (Facilities, Equipment, SSOP, SOP, GMP’s, and ETC)
5. Follows and enforces USDA & FDA guidelines and regulations.
6. Follow Company Policies, Regulations, and Lunch & Break Policies

*Position Area Duties (1-12 listed below)*
1. Interpret and answer policy and HR-related questions.
2. Contribute to weekly HR meetings and reports.
3. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions programs and policies.
4. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective thorough and objective investigations.
5. Coach and develop managers to become more effective as leaders and managers. Partner with leaders to oversee and provide recommendations and guidance on creating a Great Place to Work.
6. Maintain an awareness of talent and recruiting needs to help achieve a high performing work teams
7. Ensure compliance of all labor laws, policies and procedures.
8. Act as a liaison to other HR functions when necessary.
9. Practice a preventative and consultative approach with all stakeholders to create an environment that aligns with Del Real Foods core values.
10. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
11. Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
12. Be a Champion in safety and quality efforts with department leads and ensure appropriate relative training activities are completed as well as motivate others to be active in these areas

*C. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE*
1. High School/ G.E.D
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)
3. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
