What is a “Camp Aide?”
A Camp Aide is someone who helps out in the kitchen; a person who helps out with maintenance; and a person who can help clean as well.
Camp Whittier is owned and operated by the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County. We service guests that come to the camp, and some of the money generated by the camp goes into helping out fund the Boys & Girls Clubs.
The Camp Aide position is a part-time position, and is year-round. There is an opportunity to live on-site in a private bedroom. Electricity, water, and trash are also included. What is also cool, is that food is provided when groups are at camp. Pretty sweet deal for sure.
