Success Profile:
The Production Associate supports the Production team in the management of the product (garment) lifecycle from initial purchase to finished goods delivery. Drives daily progress through communication with global vendor base throughout the product life cycle . Prepares back up for initial costing analysis. Issues and maintains POs (Purchase Orders). Assists in managing WIP (Work-In-Progress) report. Updates buy charts for milestones achieved throughout the product lifecycle. Proactively highlights issues and problem solves with manager on resolutions. Interfaces with sales, merchandising and design teams.
This is an exciting time for a rising Production Assistant with one to two years of professional experience in a SKU intensive environment to join Vince Camuto Dresses team as the Production Associate!
Reporting to: Production Manager
Brand/Product Focus: Vince Camuto Dresses
Location (On-Site): New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District
Key Accountabilities:
• Reporting & Analysis: Manages WIP report for purchases; updates internal buy chart for wip milestones for sales and design teams; provides status reports to manager; updates shipping charts and advises on issues.
• Vendor Communication: Drives daily progress through communication with global vendor base throughout product life cycle; proactively highlights issues and problem solves with manager on resolutions; communicates approvals to vendors within required time frame.
• Sample Management: Tracks samples for Public Relations and assists with special requests.
• Production Management: Issues and maintains POs (Purchase Orders) from initial purchase through shipment.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Uses AS400, excel.
• Special Projects: Takes on and completes special projects, as assigned
