Overview

Partner with Design and Product Development to support tools, identify disruptive technologies and optimize processes to enable digital transformation and bring fashion design to the consumer faster.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Design team to create 3D garments for presentation across lines.
• Identify opportunities to reduce sampling through the use of 3D technology.
• Build relationships and partner with in house design talent to complete technical drawings and create virtual samples; completing any modifications as necessary.
• Integrate the digital design process with the existing product development and production process.
• Create a virtual seamless fabric and trim library to be used in the 3D sample process.
• Stay current on developing software

Qualifications / Job Skills

• 1+ years of previous experience of 3D apparel technology – Browzwear required; Clo, Optitex, Rhino, Maya a plus.
• Strong eye for details and styling aesthetic.
• Clear understanding of product development processes and experienced in manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of 2D pattern making and garment construction
• Basic skill of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Understanding of raw materials
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for design technology and innovation.
• Affinity for technology and quick to pick up new software and tools
• Patient & collected under pressure with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with initiative, willingness to listen and learn, and drive to collaborate and share among teammates
• Sweater Experience is Plus
