The Client Service Representative I (CSR I) is typically the first point of contact for thousands of prospective students and families whether by telephone, email, or in person. The CSR I provides cordial, professional, and highly personalized responses in accordance with Enrollment Division and department policies and procedures, responds to information requests, resolves problems, and refers more complex inquiries to the appropriate admissions counselor or other departmental contact. The CSR I provides occasional administrative support for seasonal recruiting and yield event programming, mail preparation, and the campus visit experience. The CSR I is a member of the CSR team and is responsible for frontline communications with the public via telephone, email, and via the Enrollment Division’s Executive Suite reception area. The CSR I also provides support coverage for the McKenna Hall main entrance visitor reception desk, greeting all campus visitors. The CSR I assists in training and monitoring student employees with regard to telephone and reception duties. The CSR I prepares various recruitment mailings and supports yield programming as requested. The CSR I has the option to contribute to divisional planning committees as time permits.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Up to one day per week of hybrid work may be possible after training is successfully completed.
