SUMMARY:
The Instructor and Pride Pathway (Alternative Teacher Certification) Program Manager for the College of Innovation and Design is a twelve month, full-time, non-tenure track, grant-funded position that includes both academic and auxiliary functions with an anticipated employment period of September 1, 2023 thru August 31, 2024. Continued employment may be available based on funding and program needs but is not guaranteed. As assigned by the Assistant Dean and under the direction of the Dean, the Instructor and Pride Pathway Program Manager will be assigned to teach discipline-specific courses in the online, competency-based education format, and to manage the Pride Pathway program. The Instructor and Pride Pathway Program Manager will supervise staff, assist in the creation of curriculum and ancillary materials, assess student performance, and gather, review, and disseminate program metrics. This position is headquartered at the A&M-Commerce main campus in Commerce, Texas, and is not eligible for remote work.
