The Director of Wholesale Store Development manages all aspects of the Coordinator/Brand Ambassador program and the execution of brand directive at SPARC external retail partners.
Job Responsibilities
• Ensure Brand merchandising and visual directive is executed instore. • Attend seasonal line review / sales meeting to understand brand directive for each season.• Work with Cross Functional Teams, Sales, Merch and Design to set in store visual directives. • Build and Scale national organization to support maximal growth and standards• Travel to accounts to ensure brand directive is executed and understand competitive landscape in region.• Consistently communicate with internal and external partners including, but not limited to, corporate development teams, account district teams, in-store teams and Account shop development teams.• Manage Wholesale Field team to ensure team departmental and organizational goals are met. • Review with sales team shop space / location floor plans from accounts – reviewing store rank, sales trend and competitive information.• Manage shop development senior director on shop space/location proposals – reviewing vendor flow, square footage and shop fixturing.• Forecast and manage all aspects of the team budget to maximize productivity.• Communicate with corporate development teams, account field RVP’s, district managers and internal field teams. • Communicate and follow through on shop process for all account shop reno’s, space location changes and shop updates. Partner with Construction team on shop renovation construction floor plans and on the development of fixtures for all domestic Wholesale Shop-in-Shops. • Create process/checklist for shop plan review with internal stakeholders before share out with account development teams.• Attend local shop installations to review fixture company process and manage completion of large scale projects.• Initiate store visits with field and account development teams to understand locational adjacencies, opportunity and risk.• Understand competitive landscape, shop and department productivity metrics. Partner with Real Estate team on tracking metrics. • Manage inventory list by door inclusive of fixture package, fixture capacity by type, props and signage.• Review available fixture/signing inventory with field team to update aging inventory.• Review shop layouts and relocations for their respective channels, providing feedback and direction based off feedback from Sales and field team.• Order hangers, sign holders and shop hardware based on store needs.• Manage fiscal shop in shop development budget. • Partner with Marketing on POS signing and fixturing for brand initiatives.
Qualifications
• 15+ Years in Retail, Fashion Industry• 5+ Years in Management • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
