POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Responsibility (CR) Communications, the Director, CR Reporting & Transparency will lead the ongoing development of PVH’s strategic approach to public ESG reporting, including managing the creation and publication of our annual CR Report, and strategic participation in public ESG ratings, ranking and awards that serve to garner further recognition and continue to build PVH’s reputation in the CR space.
In addition, this role will drive content creation for key company and industry publications and channels, and lead strategic communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives in support of the Company’s global CR program. The ideal candidate will be a skilled writer and editor versed in CR topics, knowledgeable about ESG reporting frameworks, and have proven ability to distill complex information into compelling and strategic messages. In addition to being a strong communicator, the ideal candidate will possess an ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously and develop high-quality deliverables within tight timeframes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead public facing ESG reporting and participation in ESG ratings, ranking and awards.
Manage PVH’s public-facing CR-related disclosures to ensure impact and consistency across various stakeholder groups, channels and touchpoints.
Monitor developments in key ESG reporting frameworks and enhance disclosure approach and reporting capabilities accordingly.
Oversee the publication of the company’s annual CR report and related communications to key stakeholders, including refreshing the company’s materiality assessment as needed.
Manage relationships within multiple internal and external stakeholders to align on strategy and facilitate content collection, creation, and review processes for public reporting and transparency.
Oversee and steer the creative production process for the CR report and other CR-related publication incl. videos, graphics and photography.
Manage PVH’s written contributions to CR-specific industry working groups and strategic thought leadership opportunities.
Lead the creation of leadership messaging incl. speech writing and talking points.
RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Ability to handle multiple projects with adherence to deadlines and identify additional resource needs as they arise. Strong attention to detail. Proven success at building and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels in multinational environments.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus.
Skills:
· Excellent written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills
· Detail-oriented with excellent project management, time management and follow-through
· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with adherence to deadlines
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners
·Ability to think quickly, produce deliverables in a timely manner, respond to changing demands, anticipate future problems, and recommend preventive courses of action
·Knowledge of CR topics, preferably in the apparel sector
Experience working with relevant ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks such as TCFD and SASB a plus
· Passionate about corporate responsibility topics
· Proficient in using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Attitude: positive, team player, proactive, strong work ethic and flexible
