Principle Accountabilities
1. Technical Services: Supports all corporate and plant quality assurance efforts. Assists or leads in the development and revision of product specifications. Serves as Corporate FSMA coordinator. Troubleshoots product and process for continuous product and package improvement. Coordinates qualification tests for new products. Works with ingredient manufacturing sites in responding to customer complaints and developing corrective actions. Provides both internal and external QA reports, documents, customer letters and other communication as needed.
2. Management & Customer Support: Supports all business units and customer services with current technical information. Interacts with Operations and QA staffs at the manufacturing plants to implement and meet customer requirements and expectations. Interfaces directly with customers providing clarification and interpretation of specification, test procedures, and product analysis. Manages the Customer technical information systems (surveys, inquiries, requests for specifications and other technical information). Serves as the Corporate FSMA coordinator.
3. Audits: Manages corporate quality systems audit process.
4. Training: Assists in training and supporting QA Managers as needed.

Professional Qualifications/Required Skills of the Position
Education and/or Experience: This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college and a minimum of four years’ experience in Quality Assurance.
Language Skills: Must have effective oral and written communication skills, excellent telephone skills, and thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.
Reasoning Ability: Demonstrates the self-confidence and maturity to make decisions and solve problems with minimal direction. Organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Interpersonal Skills: Team player, flexible and accepts changing assignments and accountabilities.
Computer Skills: Proficient is using Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
Work Environment: The position is located in a corporate business office environment with moderate noise levels and requires sitting at a desk for extended periods and walking from point to point. Domestic travel required – about 25% – 35%.
