About the Job
You would be planning, organizing, and executing weeklong and weekend trips into Remote and Regional Western Australian communities to help our enthusiastic volunteers to deliver sport, health promotion and wellness programs to under-served communities. We deliver programs in the beautiful Kimberly, Pilbara and Midwest regions in northern WA and head out into the renowned Goldfields and also into our lush Wheatbelt communities. You will split your time between trip planning with our Perth based team and being on the road with our amazing volunteers.
You will be responsible for:
This is a one year contract starting mid-February.

Accommodation:
The trip lead role will travel about 24 weeks out of the year, with scheduling dependent on community needs. All accommodation is paid for when you are working in the regions and will be a mixture of hotels, donated community housing and school classrooms (with luxurious blow up mattresses!) depending on availability in the region.
Trips will often include weekend days on the road, but don’t worry you will be able to take those days off (pre-arranged with management) and can choose to spend that time in the regions on personal travel or working reduced weeks when in Perth. As long as you are meeting your work requirements, this role offers great flexibility!
As you are traveling so much, and may choose to spend even more time out of Perth in your downtime, the type of accommodation that would be best for this type of role would be in a ‘share house’ with roommates. We can certainly help you find somewhere appropriate.
Training:
We provide complete training. Our group training starts in late Feb so get in quick to register your interest!
