The Analyst, Business Intelligence – Asia Pacific is responsible for maximizing revenue and profits for multiple hotels by supporting Cluster Revenue Managers, Senior Cluster Revenue Managers and Assistant Directors in the coordination of revenue management reporting, processes and procedures. This role drives reporting efficiency and develops data visualization products for the whole center by implementing business intelligence skills such as VBA, SQL and Python.
What will I be doing?
As the Analyst, Business Intelligence – APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Hilton will hold its Team Members accountable to the following key areas: profit, quality, customers, and people.
Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems and data sources, follow company best practices and standard operating procedures to capitalize and maximize revenue potential, and ensure all commercial decisions are supported by appropriate data analysis.
Create, maintain and update the full suite of RMCC reporting and tools with consistency and high quality.
Integrate with other functions to ensure we exceed the expectation of customers, owners and shareholders.
Build an effective working relationship with hotel commercial teams and operations to maintain their trust and confidence in the Revenue Management decisions and actions.
Support / contribute / participate in projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of RMCC department, reports, process and procedures.
Support and integrate with other RMCCs and global commercial service teams to drive business intelligence performance globally.
Feed ideas and innovations to drive constant improvement of reporting and operating procedures.
Follow company standards to complete data collection, data quality check and data cleaning.
What are we looking for?
An Analyst, Business Intelligence – APAC serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
Excellent communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills, both in Chinese and English to meet business needs
Confident in communicating with a wide range of people, both internal and external
Positive, open-minded and ready for fast-paced and changing environment
Clear, concise, logical and factual in making arguments and decisions
Able to recognize trends in data and evaluate complex written and numerical information effectively and efficiently
Able to prioritize and balance importance, urgency and resources
Determined and energetic, whilst remaining calm and level headed to deliver results
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formula, pivot, VBA), Access, SQL
Technical skills such as Python, Power BI are preferred
Experience in programming and data analysis is preferred
