Job Summary:
As the Director of IT at Bally’s, you will oversee the overall operation of the facility through IT solutions and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
* Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
* Direct and support all IT solutions that enhance business objectives, including
* Plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the IT department
* Oversee the Company’s application portfolio and all IT functions for the end-users within the organization
* Collaborate with Bally’s Corporate team to deliver IT initiatives and recommend systems and applications
* Manage the department’s allocation of resources and project planning
* Oversee all of the monitoring, maintenance, and support of all hardware and software based on department needs
* Responsible for the safety and security of all active and stored sensitive data, network access, software, and systems
* Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
* Manage the department’s budget, including capital expenditures
* Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
* Performs the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
* Must have a four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar, or a combination of education and experience
* Must have seven years of working experience of progressively professional experience in the casino industry
* Must have knowledge of all casino game rules
* Must have excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems
* Must have knowledge of all applicable gaming regulations
* Must have expertise in data center management and data governance
* Must have hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
* Strong organizational, planning and supervisory skills are required
* Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:
* Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds
* Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead
Work Environment:
The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
