Responsibilities
HRIS
Serve as the subject matter expert for the HR Information System (ADP Workforce Now)
Create and analyze robust reports as needed by the business; provides monthly HR metrics dashboards in partnership with Talent Acquisition
Maintain and be accountable for data integrity for the global HRIS
Partner with the global HR team to ensure timely delivery and entry of employee data changes into ADP Workforce Now
Proactively partner with ADP and other vendors as necessary
Develop key performance indicators, quality metrics, and reporting by working collaboratively with cross-functional business partner and vendors
Develop and provide necessary training to end users to increase their effectiveness and utilization of various systems
Constantly research and evaluate new and alternative solutions/technologies to enhance operational effectiveness
Supports the merit and bonus program and process by providing accurate reporting and implementing data changes
Supports key aspects of the organization’s Affirmative Action Plan
Lead and manage strategic initiatives and projects in fulfillment of the organization’s goals and objectives
Payroll
Manage the payroll process; accounting duties in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of multi state and multi-site in house payroll utilizing ADP HRIS/Payroll system
Maintain the integrity of payroll data by ensuring accurate collection, calculation, and entering of data
Reviews and approves changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and cost center/department transfers
Determine payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer’s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
Process accurate and timely year-end reporting (W2s)
Proactively research, understand, and compile federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. This includes the understanding of new and changes to existing legislation
Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Review and audit reports for evaluation of accuracy and controls and make recommendations for improvement as needed
Research and analyzes discrepancies and processes appropriate corrections for pay
Maintains employee information such as direct deposit, tax withholdings, address and contact information
Additional duties and project work as needed.
Keep all sensitive matters confidential

Strong analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box when creating and manipulating reports

Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong MS Office Suite knowledge (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint). Advanced knowledge in Excel is required
Proven ability to maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Able to juggle multiple projects and tasks while prioritizing activities
Attuned to the needs of internal customers and communicates with diplomacy & tact
Organized and detail oriented with excellent follow through
Ability to manage change through strong relationships with leaders and other levels of the organization
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or related field. Relevant job experience in lieu of degree may be acceptable
5 – 7 years of experience in HRIS and payroll processing
ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred, strong ADP custom reporting skills desired
Experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable processes and practices a plus

The salary range for this posted position is $70,000 – $100,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
