About Woodcraft Rangers:
In 1922, Woodcraft opened its doors in Los Angeles and began advancing its mission to guide young people as they explore pathways to purposeful lives. Since then, Woodcraft has been at the forefront of expanded learning opportunities in greater Los Angeles, having now served five generations of Angeleno youth through scouting, summer camps and after-school enrichment programs that have always been co- educational, inclusive, and free or very low-cost to ensure access to all children. Our afterschool clubs, summer camps, and college accelerator program prepare young people for greater life success.
Position Information:
The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of agency materials, content copy, and collateral for both internal and external use and distribution. The Marketing and Communications Manager will work alongside side another Manager and as part of a team to that leads all elements of Woodcraft’s storytelling, including social media posts, informational fliers, email marketing, website development and more. This position will focus on the creative development of how agency impact is curated across all media. The Marketing and Communications Manager will lead the curation and production of content to support Woodcraft Rangers communications through its social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook), organizational websites and website updates, electronic and printed collateral for program use and marketing purposes according to Woodcraft Rangers and Camp Woodcraft brand guidelines. The position will be responsible for liaising with contract creators including graphic designers, video producers, photographers, and event producers.
As part of Woodcraft Rangers’ Strategy team, this position will also have a role in supporting fundraising work by aligning efforts to grant deliverables and outcomes, assisting programmatic needs that may arise, and additional event planning and support as needed.
