The Associate, Digital and Content Marketing will work to craft, align, and schedule messaging; primarily through email and digital platforms, to internal and external stakeholders of WTS International. This includes our 8,700 members; 69 Chapters, corporate and industry partners, and other volunteers. This role will fully manage and execute on email requests and schedules; triggered campaigns; and strategic marketing pipelines in a variety of WTS International platforms.
This position will work cross-departmentally to facilitate and schedule email marketing, to include event promotion, membership campaigns, executive messaging, member and stakeholder newsletters, legislative and policy updates, WTS Foundation fundraising; and other specialty campaigns.
Additionally, this position will assist the Vice President, External Relations & Strategic Initiatives and the Manager, Communications & Programming, in the implementation and release of external communications, including posting executive and leadership letters and talking points on WTS digital platforms and social media.
The role will report to the WTS International Vice President of External Relations and Strategic Initiatives. This Associate will closely align and often collaborate with other departments and positions, such as Meetings & Events; Marketing & Communications, and Membership & Chapter Relations; and must be able to support WTS members, chapter representatives, leadership and volunteers.
The ideal candidate for this position must be curious, driven, organized, deadline-driven, and thorough, with excellent writing, copyediting, and technical skills. Experience with project management, calendar development and scheduling, association management systems (AMS) like ACGI, Drupal/website content management, and Informz email platforms and Higher Logic platforms also preferred.
This role will also regularly report on email data and analytics, including recommendations based on historical data and outreach. Knowledge of SEO, design basics, corporate brand and style guidelines, and social media analytics also preferred.
